Opened in 2007 the Byre Play Area is completely free for children to use throughout the day. Ideal for parents wanting to let their children enjoy themselves in a safe, fun and creative environment while they catch up with other parents with a coffee!

The mini stage, costumes and props allow your little stars to have a great time by themselves or with friends. There is also a range of games and toys to play with so they will never get bored of coming back again and again!

The play area has grown in popularity and is frequently well used with parents enjoying the comfort for them, as well as the pleasure for the children.

• Open Monday – Saturday from 10am until close.
  *The children’s area is open on Monday but unfortunately the Byre Bistro is closed.

The Byre Play Area is free to use, however food and drink must not be consumed if bought from outside the Byre Theatre.
