The A.B Paterson Main Auditorium has a seating capacity of 216. Perfect views of the large stage can be enjoyed form every seat in this modern, comfortable theatre.
The Auditorium is
fully accessible and the rear row can be removed for wheelchairs. The auditorium is equipped with infra red hearing loop system.
The front row can be removed for an orchestra pit or to extend the stage to form a larger space, popular with ceilidhs.
The main auditorium is one of the most attractive venues in the country and offers excellent technical support as well as allowing the
audience to enjoy the event in superb comfort. An intimate, stylish yet modern theatre space this venue is highly sought after and hosts
national and international events managed by our experienced Event support team who will be on hand throughout to assist you.
The Lawrence Levy Studio has a capacity of 100 people and is often used for presentations and displays as well as meetings.
The studio is a fully functional theatre space
and has the technical facilities to suit, which can be used for your purpose. Such as specialised lighting, sound amplification, film screen
and projector and a new development id the addition of two changing rooms connected to the studio.
The studio also has a
private waiting area outside and toilets available. Lift access is also available.
The Neil Anderson Conference Room is an ideal venue for smaller meetings.
In board room style 12 people can be accommodated comfortably and theatre presentation style 30 can
be accommodated.
With support provided such as LCD screen, DVD, whiteboard & pens, self catering facilities in the
room, this room is perfect for your meeting.
Spacious foyer spaces are available for hire throughout the theatre, ideal for exhibitions, & informal events.
Level 2 is a large expansive open space suitable for catching attention and
for hosting receptions. Level 4 foyer is a smaller space, which is well suited to private functions, tucked away in the top level of the
theatre with views over St Andrews. This space also works well as a reception area for events held in the Lawrence Levy Studio.
Our in-house catering department are well recognised for their excellent menus and range of drinks. The Bistro seats 50 people who can enjoy the fine views over our garden. The Bistro was voted in the top 5 romantic eating establishments in Scotland in the ‘Scotsman Recommends’.
The bar stocks a fine range of drinks and live
entertainment can also be enjoyed during the evening.
The Byre Bar & Bistro, with our excellent foyer spaces, allow
the Byre to provide catering for conferences and weddings as well as smaller events such as celebrations or business meetings.
